Why Barn Lot Design Matters

A barn lot that floods every spring is a barn lot you fight all year. A working pen with bad layout adds an hour to every cattle working day. A pad that was not compacted right turns into ruts the first time you drive a loaded trailer across it.

We think about all of that before we move a bucket of dirt. Drainage, slope, traffic patterns, where the gates need to be, and where the cattle are going to want to flow. Then we grade and prep accordingly.
